3 ATM Researchers Amongst Faculty to Receive Federal and Provincial Funding

Please join us in congratulating members of the ATM Community who are amongst the 31 UBC Faculty of Medicine researchers awarded more than $7 million in funding through federal and provincial funding.

The ATM is pleased that such initiatives are being supported. The UBC Faculty of Medicine describing that the funding awarded “will support key research infrastructure, advance innovation and talent development, and accelerate research tackling some of the most pressing health challenges facing British Columbians, Canadians and the world.” Funding for these projects comes from the Canada Foundation of Innovation (CFI), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), and the BC Knowledge Development Fund (BCKDF).
