To craft this program, SBME drew upon various perspectives for support, including but not limited to the UBC Academy of Translational Medicine (ATM). As a result, the curriculum designed to meet the needs of the bioeconomy, ensuring participants gain the practical legal and strategic skills needed to bring scientific and technical innovations to market. This includes mastering effective IP strategies and identifying market gaps and addressing unmet healthcare needs.
