Innovate, Collaborate and Translate is the Academy of Translational Medicine’s inaugural in-person event for early career researchers working in translational medicine.
Established in 2020, the Academy of Translational Medicine is an enabler of translational medicine excellence, connecting people and organizations along the translational medicine pipeline, providing ways and means to collaborate, innovate, and accelerate research deliverables.
This full-day event will serve to build and shape a strong community of early career researchers and highlight their work in translational medicine, and will foster collaboration with members of the Academy of Translational Medicine for an engaging day of presentations and networking opportunities. The event will feature a keynote address from Dr. Peter Zandstra, where he will discuss his own translational research journey.
Rapid rounds of presentations from early career researchers, and opportunities for networking, will allow attendees to learn from, and work with, their peers. A reception including appetizers and drinks will follow the presentations to further build and strengthen relationships.
We are excited to support the early career researchers in translational medicine and look forward to strengthening this community. Stay tuned for a larger event in the fall that will welcome the entire translational medicine community at UBC.
