Gairdner Webinar: Gut Peptides Drive Therapeutic Innovation

The Gairdner Foundation is pleased to partner with Life Sciences BC again for a virtual event on January 11 at 10 am PST. The Gairdner Foundation celebrates and recognizes scientific excellence through the Canada Gairdner Awards. Dr. Daniel Drucker received the 2021 Canada Gairdner International Award along with Dr. Jens Holst and Dr. Joel Habener for their research on glucagon-like peptides that has led to major advances in the treatment of Type 2 diabetes, obesity and intestinal disorders. His lecture is called “Gut peptides drive therapeutic innovation for people with metabolic disorders.”
