Virtual

Intended Audience: Front-line workers

Description:

This is the second instalment of Reimagining Health Care: Practice-based Research Series. This seminar series offers a unique opportunity for clinicians and researchers to learn about current research collaborations and share project findings with a broader audience to further spread the impact of practice-based research.

Three past recipients of the Research Challenge* will present their funded projects and will answer questions about their experience:

  • Leila Goharian (dietitian practice leader, professional practice, VCH)
  • Melissa Nicholson (nurse practitioner, VCH) & Emma Garrod (clinical nurse specialist, FNHA)
  • Jennifer Nuk (practice leader, genetic counselling, BC Cancer)

*The Research Challenge and Knowledge Translation (KT) Challenge, in partnership with VCHRI, Providence Health Care and BC Cancer, are annual competitions that support clinicians and staff to actively engage in research. Both programs aim to improve patient experiences and outcomes by identifying areas of need, developing solutions and moving evidence into practice.
