It’s confirmed! Learners in Regulatory Affairs in the Life Sciences will be eligible for the StrongerBC Future Skills Grant

We recently shared that registration is open for the Regulatory Affairs in the Life Sciences Micro-certificate returning in Fall 2024. The ATM is pleased to provide an update, which is that students registered in the Fall 2024 iteration of the UBC Micro-certificate in Regulatory Affairs in the Life Sciences are eligible for funding through the StrongerBC future skills grant (FSG).

Nominations Open: UBC Faculty Research Awards

Nominations have opened for the 2024 UBC Faculty Research Awards, which may be of interest to those in the ATM Community. The nomination process consists of an optional EOI deadline in September 2024 and a full application deadline in November 2024.

Deadline Approaching: 2024 Gairdner Early Career Investigators Competition

Early career investigators across Canada are invited to submit an application to present their research as part of the Gairdner Science Week events in October. The deadline is 15 August 2024 for Assistant Professors (or equivalent level scientific investigators) working in health research in Canada to apply.

Framework by Dr. Dean Regier and Colleagues Resonates in International Contexts

A European panel of experts has highlighted the life-cycle assessment framework developed by Dr. Regier, Associate Director of the ATM, as the way forward to address timely evidence-informed access to precision oncology products. External stakeholders sharing this Canadian-based work as a thought-provoking strategy for international audiences is an indication of its applicability and relevance on a global level.
