Title: The Multidisciplinary Alliance for Translational Research and Innovation in Neuropsychiatry (MATRIX-N)

Talk summary: Dr. Anthony Phillips will introduce the UBC Research Excellence Cluster and present some promising lines of research within the cluster, particularly an international multi-disciplinary collaboration on a botanical formulation for opioid withdrawal management. Dr. Lily Aleksandrova will discuss another MATRIX-N project: neuroplasticity as a convergent mechanism for rapid-acting antidepressants, ketamine and classical psychedelics.
